The new science labs include several examples of innovation including intelligent energy-saving lighting systems and radiant heating panels thus maximising available wall space.
Through Evan Jones’ project management, the building is now more energy efficient, better insulated and ventilated and has improved lighting and acoustics resulting in a superior learning environment for the college pupils.
The refurbished science labs were open ready for pupils at the start of the Autumn term.
