Evans Jones were appointed by Girls’ Day School Trust to carry out a Disabled Access Audit for Newcastle High School for Girls.

We were originally appointed by Girls Day School Trust to carry out Disabled Access Audits of the Trust’s portfolio of 26 separate school sites.
We were subsequently then appointed to update all audit reports including additional audits where new buildings had been constructed, acquired or existing buildings completely refurbished.
This included Newcastle High School for Girls, therefore an audit was carried out to all areas accessible to pupils and public, including the Sports Hall/Gymnasium, Main Teaching Block and Dining and Assembly Hall.
The programme of audits were completed to the agreed programme by a team of trained auditors, who were able to deliver consistent results and provide realistic recommendations.
